Peter Nang ACHUONJEI is the son of late chief Ngong Achuonjei of Kusu Village in Wum. He was born and raised in Wum and graduated from Presbyterian Primary School Wum. Other schools attended in Cameroon are; Presbyterian Teacher Training College Batibo, Cameroon Protestant College Bali, Yaoundé University, Yaounde for 1 year. Peter or Princewill as his family and friends fondly calls him then moved to the US where he continued his studies at SUNY University Platteville, New York. He went on to do a Masters degree in Agricultural Industries at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, Wisconsin and a PHD in 1996 from Michigan State University East Lansing, Michigan in Agricultural development.
Dr. Achuonjei has worked for the United Nations and World Bank as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in East Timor; for AFRICARE in Chad as Project Coordinator; for USAID funded Partnerships for Food Industry Development under Michigan State University for Ghana and Central America (Nicaragua and Guatemala) as Project Coordinator. Currently, Princewill is the President/CEO of Spartan Healthcare Staffing Services of Michigan.
Dr. Achuonjei is married to his wife Justine Achuonjei and they have 4 children; Joy Njang, Hoppe Ngong, Bwoonzho-Princewill, and Pryderick Njuh-Nyoh Achuonjei.
